Eddie Hearn Makes Shocking Second Offer to Brian Norman Jr, But Why?

In a recent interview with Chris Mannix, Eddie Hearn revealed he offered Brian Norman Jr. a deal to fight Jaron Boots Ennis after Brian Norman's fight against Jin Sasaki.

According to Eddie, Brian Norman's team said they wouldn't negotiate until after the Jin Sasaki fight. Boots Ennis fans look at this as a duck. I view it from a different perspective.

It's smart not to negotiate another deal while being contracted for an impending fight. How can you sign an agreement for unification when you don't know if Brian Norman will win his upcoming fight?

What if Brian Norman Jr signs a deal to fight Boots and loses to Jin Sasaki? Will Boots be willing to fight Brian Norman, then? That would defeat the entire purpose of wanting to make that fight.

In my opinion, Brian Norman Jr. would look past Jin Sasaki if his team negotiates a fight with Boots Ennis while he is under contract to fight Sasaki.

It is rumored that Norman Jr. is being paid well over $1,000,000 for this fight. If that's the case, they did the right thing by telling Eddie Hearn they didn't want to negotiate a fight with Boots while in training camp to fight Sasaki.

Once Turki Alalshikh gets involved, this fight will be huge financially. Eddie Hearn can't pay the amount Turki Alashikh can pay for a battle of this magnitude. Let's see how this works out.

In other news, Edgar, the Puerto Rican Assassin Berlanga, is at it again. Berlanga recently reacted to Canelo's criticism of his performance against him when they fought in 2024.

Canelo said, and I quote, "Like Berlanga, he tried to survive when we fought. It's tough to perform well when you have a fighter like Berlanga and Skull, who doesn't come to fight.

Canelo explained to a reporter why he couldn't perform better against William Skull. Some say Skull displayed the sweet science of boxing, and others believe William Skull was running.

Berlanga called Canelo delusional & a little bi*ch for disrespecting him. Berlanga said, and I quote, " I stood toe to toe with you for 12 rounds with a messed-up arm.

Berlanga then went on to say he has more first-round knockouts than Mike Tyson. "I have 17 first-round knockouts, and Mike Tyson has 8. The Prince of Puerto Rico has spoken.

In other news, Jermall Charlo is fighting on the undercard of the man who slapped the taste out of his mouth. In August of 2023, Caleb Plant was seen on camera slapping Jermall in front of everybody.

After the slap, Plant called Jermall a boy and told him to get some. Next thing you know, Jermall can be seen standing on stage, next to Caleb Plant, on his best behavior.

Houston, we have a problem. We can see Plant vs Charlo next. Did Brian Norman Jr do the right thing? Does Edgar Berlanga have a point?

How do you feel about Jermall Charlo and Caleb Plant peacefully being on stage together? Let's get into the show.
