Satan’s Lies Are Many—Truth Is One

In the gospel reading, Jesus speaks of his ascension and the Holy Spirit’s coming, explaining that the apostles will experience sorrow while the world rejoices in evil. This sorrow stems from witnessing the world’s rejection of God and the loss of souls. Despite the appearance of Satan’s victory, Christians must remain steadfast in their faith, serving God faithfully and living as strangers and pilgrims in this world, awaiting the day of judgment.

Life is short and is a time of testing and purification, requiring a choice between Jesus and Satan. Rejecting Satan’s empty promises and embracing Jesus’ truth and love leads to fulfillment and eternal joy. Ultimately, this life is a journey towards seeing the Lord and experiencing the fullness of knowledge and love.
