Apatros Review Ep-0154: Paranoid [2000] ("Frightmare")

AR-0154: One of the very first slashers of the 21st Century, this DTV [direct-to-video] low budget production has a mysterious serial killer known as "The Conscience Killer" strike a small town, prompting the twin sister of one of his victims to attempt to track him down.

Something of an obscure title [got released in Australia on DVD back in the day through the likes of Peacock Films and Flashback Entertainment and those DVDs were pretty damn cheap back then], this film reeks of amateurishness but nevertheless had a slightly better effectiveness than some of the other titles that came out at the time.

My Grade: D+ [Disappointing]
