In 1822, Polish doctor Jedrzej Śniadecki discovered that sunlight could help treat rickets, but his findings were largely ignored. It wasn’t until much later that sunlight therapy began to be widely used for rickets.

This is partly becasuse your body can’t absorb enough calcium from your food without Vitamin D.

But the sun doesn’t just build bones. It also sharpens eyesight, regulates sleep, strengthens your heart, boosts your mood, and floods your body with life-giving molecules like nitric oxide and serotonin.

We were never meant to only live indoors. Go outside—your body will thank you.
