This podcast explores two of the most intriguing and mysterious periods in Russian history—the reign of Ivan the Terrible and the reign of Peter the Great. Both eras are considered turning points in Russian history and had a significant impact on the country’s future development. Each is filled with enigmas and events that remain not fully understood.
In the first part, one of the authors of the New Chronology, Gleb Nosovsky, shares new details uncovered during the study of the astronomical zodiac of Ivan the Terrible, depicted on the famous ivory throne housed in the Armory Chamber of the Moscow Kremlin. It unexpectedly turned out that there is a hidden secret in the history of Peter I, related to a substitution of the tsar’s identity. This most likely means that the person who reigned under the name of Peter the Great was actually someone else with a completely different name—in other words, an impostor. Which explains a great deal about Russian history.
