Berezovka Mammoth & the Clovis People-RMR#24

The Berezovka mammoth was discovered near the Berezovka River in Siberia in 1900 and excavated in 1901. It was a male woolly mammoth that had been inside the permafrost for about 44,000 years and was incredibly well-preserved.
It had only a few marks on its body and part of the trunk was missing along with most of the hair, though the iconic woolly fur could still be seen around the upper region of the front legs.
Analysis of the mammoth's stomach contents revealed that its diet included a variety of grasses, such as foxtail, crested wheatgrass, and barley grass.
The remains of its stomach were intact and there were grasses and buttercups lodged between its teeth.
