To Be Or Not To Be? Ricky Gervais "Appearing As" David Brent

Ricky Gervais has to "appear "as" David Brent because he is NOT David Brent and never can be.

The planning enforcement notice which is featured in so many of my articles [What Is Evidence] and the LSB Film Productions podcast 1 interview (all at capillarywave.com) clearly states that "This notice is served on you as a person..."

Why serve it on me "as" a person? why not just serve it on me?

When Mike Tyson boxes, he boxes "as" Iron Mike Tyson, that is his stage name, his PUBLIC PERSONA

When Charles puts on his crown he does so "as" King Charles; that is his PUBLIC PERSONA

If someone serves notice on you, they will serve it on you "as" a person because that is not what you REALLY are - you can NEVER "be" a person, that is not your being; you can only BELIEVE that you are one of those things
