A Miracle He made
I made this based on my Sermon on a Miracle. It is based on a true story, but I've not independently verified it. I was researching into ordinary miracles without supernatural elements. This satisfies that. And gave me chills, tears and joy.

In Poland’s arms, the 1920s bloom,
A Jewish family, healing through the gloom.
Surviving wars, with dreams across the sea,
A land of hope, where hearts could be free.
Two sisters bound, so close, yet torn apart,
Anja sailed away, with a heavy heart.
In Baltimore, she built a life so grand,
Married a good man, in a promised land.
But in Poland, her sister stayed behind,
Blessed with children, love so kind.
Letters crossed the ocean, dreams held tight,
Till war’s dark shadow stole the light.
He hears your prayers, He knows your pain,
Through broken roads, He’ll bring you gain.
Humble hearts will find His way,
Family restored, by His grace today.
Oh, trust His plan, don’t limit His might,
He’ll heal your wounds in His perfect light.
The war was cruel, the letters ceased to come,
Word reached Anja—her family was gone.
A childless woman, yearning for a home,
Cried out to Him, she felt so alone.
“Give me children, Lord, to raise in Your name,
Let them call me mother, ease this pain.”
With her husband’s heart, they sought to adopt,
A Jewish baby, their hope would not stop.
To New York they went, but no babies were there,
Just Miriam, eight, with her soulful stare.
They wanted one child, a babe to raise,
So they drove back home through empty days.
A year rolled by, they tried once more,
But Miriam, now nine, stood at the door.
With her brother, bound, they couldn’t part,
So they took them both, with open hearts.
He hears your prayers, He knows your pain,
Through broken roads, He’ll bring you gain.
Humble hearts will find His way,
Family restored, by His grace today.
Oh, trust His plan, don’t limit His might,
He’ll heal your wounds in His perfect light.
The car doors opened, the bags unpacked,
Pictures on the wall, memories intact.
Miriam cried out, her voice so small,
“Why’s my babcia’s picture on your wall?”
A photo from her bag, the truth unveiled,
Anja’s blood, her family prevailed.
Nephew and niece, her sister’s own,
God brought them home, no longer alone.
He hears your prayers, He knows your pain,
Through broken roads, He’ll bring you gain.
Humble hearts will find His way,
Family restored, by His grace today.
Oh, trust His plan, don’t limit His might,
He’ll heal your wounds in His perfect light.
His garden’s vast, His ways divine,
He weaves the threads through space and time.
Anja’s heart, once torn, now whole,
Family found, He healed her soul.
Oh, sing His praise, His love’s the key,
He answers prayers—His way, you’ll see.
