Trump on Crypto: If We Don’t Do It, China Will

I want crypto because if we don’t take action, China will get ahead.

Sometimes Trump says things so clueless, you don’t even know where to start.

Nobody can “lead” in crypto. That’s the whole point — crypto was created and designed specifically so that no one, no corporation or government, could ever control it.

Drop taxes on crypto asset gains, and you’ll see a lot of good come from it. Serious capital will flow into the country. Everything else is just talk and BS for rubes. Crypto exists so that you don’t need Trump, Putin, or any bank.

And if he's talking about mining — forget it. Electricity in the U.S. is too expensive. Democrats have systematically destroyed the energy sector, and the U.S. is now decades behind. Move on!
