UEA First Fleet Command Ship – UNS Vengeance
Orbital Position above Korinth Prime – June 02 2546
“Open channel. I want every UEA ship, every colony, every man, woman, and child across our stars to hear this.”
“To the sons and daughters of Earth…
To the billions who died screaming in the firestorms of 1996…
To every ruined city, to every lost mother, father, child…
Today, justice burns.”
“Korinth Prime—the festering cradle of the swarm—stands below us. A world not of life, but of hunger. Of cruelty. Of genocide.”
“These creatures are not misunderstood. They are not tragic. They are not victims of instinct.
They are murderers. They are monsters. And they knew what they were doing.”
“They came to Earth in the 20th century, unprovoked, without warning.
They devoured continents. Swallowed nations whole.
They tore through our people like locusts. Like fire. Like a biblical plague.”
“And now, five hundred years later—we return the favor.”
“This is not a war. This is an execution.
A reckoning long overdue.
A righteous fire brought upon a species that forfeited its right to exist the moment it chose to prey on our homeworld.”
“Let the universe bear witness: the United Earth Alliance does not forget.
And we do not forgive.”
“To the last drone buried in the crust of that hellworld…
To the last twitching synapse in your hive mind…
You are guilty.”
“And now—you are extinct.”
“Fire everything. Reduce this world to cinders.”

EPISODE 38 – “A Promise Kept, A Hive Destroyed”
July, 2546
The stars burn bright above Earth, but for once—they burn in triumph.
The long, bloody saga between humanity and the Korinth Swarm has reached its final act.
The planet once known as Korinth Prime, the grotesque cradle of the hive, now drifts as a lifeless tomb world—scarred by orbital bombardment, poisoned by radiation, and silenced forever. No whispers of the hive mind echo in the void. No drones rise from the depths. Only ash and ruin remain.
For the United Earth Alliance, this moment marks the fulfillment of a promise—a vow made five and a half centuries ago, when the first Korinth ships darkened the skies of Earth in the Great Defensive War of 1996. Billions perished during that invasion. Cities were reduced to slag. Nations collapsed. And yet, humanity endured.
That war forged a fire in the heart of mankind—a promise of vengeance, and survival at any cost.
“We swore they would never threaten us again. That humanity would not cower. That one day, we would answer their slaughter with fire. That day is today.”
– UEA Chancellor, Victory Address, 2546
The Hive Collapses
With the destruction of Korinth Prime, the central Hive Mind Nexus—the neurological super-organism that unified the swarm—has been annihilated. The remaining Korinth across the galaxy, cut off from the swarm's core intellect, are now isolated, disoriented, and in many cases, feral.
Without the coordinating will of their primary consciousness, Korinth hives in distant sectors fall into disarray. Their fleets no longer move in harmony. Their planetary defenses crumble. Some begin to prey upon themselves, unable to distinguish friend from foe.
UEA military analysts estimate that the Korinth as a galactic power are functionally extinct. What remains are dying fragments—pockets of rogue hives scattered across the void, too weak to be threats, too fractured to unify.
The Moment and the Message
Across the United Earth Alliance, celebrations erupt.
On Earth, fireworks light up the sky above the New Geneva Arcology. On Mars, holographic memorials honor the victims of the original 1996 war. Colonies across Alpha Centauri, Vega, and Sirius hold planetary-wide ceremonies—not of joy, but of solemn vindication.
But even amid the cheers, a cold truth lingers.
This victory, though historic, was born of fire. Billions more have died since 1996—across centuries of warfare, over the stars, in battles that scarred planets and broke nations. The United Earth Alliance has become something else—an empire forged in retaliation, hardened by war, and willing to make cold, pragmatic choices in the name of survival.
And now, with one ancient enemy silenced, the shadow of the Contingency still looms—its Machine Worlds still burning across the south, its fleets still razing entire sectors, and its ghost signal still echoing faintly across subspace.
But for a moment, humanity has claimed a clear and total victory.
The hive that once dared to invade Earth is no more.
The vow made in desperation in the final days of the 20th century has finally been honored in the fires of the 26th.
"The Hive is gone. The stars remember their crimes. And now… they remember our justice."
