Hello everyone. In this morning's Bible study we transition from a comparison between the three gospels, Matthew - Mark - Luke, to a verse by verse study of Matthew 24.

In our initial comparison we read where the disciples asked the Lord several interesting questions which I am glad they asked. Mark and Luke recorded single question while Matthew recorded all three questions.

Does that matter? Of course it does my friend. The Lord never does anything that doesn't matter. Now, though Mark and Luke only recorded one of the three questions, they recorded the response to all three although at a much small disclosure than Matthew.

In doing this, the LORD God retained His manner of organizing the scriptures by having two or three witnesses.

Matthew 24 presents the tribulation in segments beginning at verse 4 then drawing to conclusion at the end of chapter 25. Matthew also provide details that align with the discourse given by the apostle John over in Revelation 6.

The message however is crystal clear, don't be deceived, don't place your trust / salvation in the hand of some human, know the scriptures for yourself, don't trust nor be persuaded by any so called miracle, and follow only those who teach the whole counsel of God from the Bible.

Today's study is 1 hour and 39 minutes in duration. I have broken it into seven segments. This is segment 1 of 7 titled Understanding Matthew 24 verse by verse. Part 1
