Tripping on Travel: July 2020 REMASTER, back trail, CT

I recorded this footage in eastern Connecticut on July 9, 2020. This was the opening year of the pandemic. And July was well past opening season for major league baseball. Top news in July 2020, according to CBS News online, included baseball games held in front of cardboard cutouts of spectators. They also remark that, "MLB releases shortened schedule amid coronavirus testing delays" and "MLB commissioner confident league will get through season as more players opt out".

It was late in the day, and dark, on this trail at the time. And unusually quiet. So quiet, the camera captured the audio of a hopping toad. Which, as I discovered with a little research online, was probably a Fowler's toad. A species typically found in the eastern United States. Based on the angle of the sunlight coming through the trees, I believe it was within the approaching hours of sunset that I was there at the time. I didn't bother changing the camera settings for the conditions. My challenge in the remastering process was improving the image because of those settings. And 'cutting the fat', as they say.
