The Bexar County Sheriff's Office arrested multiple people involved in a human smuggling

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office arrested multiple people involved in a human smuggling op and the sheriff says they smuggled upwards of 15 people per week since at least 2023.

The sheriff released video of one of the suspects screaming and cursing into the camera following her arrest. Mary Lou Tula, who is a U.S. citizen, is charged with organzing criminal activity, smuggling persons, and operating a stash house.
