The data, charts, and information I share in this video is the kind of stuff that really frustrates me because we're taught our entire lives to invest in crap like mutual funds to build wealth for us because Wall Street is so much better at managing our money and growing it than we are.

According to them, we're too stupid to invest our money intelligently, so that's why we need to pay them billions of dollars in fees every year to manage these mutual funds.

The problem is that most mutual funds are not able to consistently keep up with or outperform the overall market, yet they continue to siphon off large portions of our portfolios from both management fees and undisclosed expenses within these mutual funds.

The result is us paying massive long-term costs for subpar results and performance when we could have just bought the index ourselves via index funds for a fraction of the cost.

So, in my opinion (not investment advice), investing in mutual funds doesn't seem to make a lot of sense.
