Pope Leo XIV arrives for his first mass as pontiff

Pope Leo XIV celebrated his first mass as leader of the Catholic Church on Friday (May 9), inside the Vatican's Sistine Chapel. The cardinals who elected him as pontiff participated in the service, which was held the day after conclave drew to a close.
