The Paratroopers Anthem

I have a copy of this written in my father's hand on paratrooper School paper from fort Benning.

it is one of the few things I have written of his by his hand. it is the most precious to me. even though it's a copy.

as I get older my memories feel like copies.
like they're not even real.

if I make it to September 28th this year 2025 I will be older than my father when he passed away.

that means that all three of his children have out survived to same age as to when he passed. he was 53 years and eight days.

thank God he never had a chute that failed him.
