Small update video about what's been going on lately and why the channel has been a bit forgotten for a while. We got ourselves a new website and we hope this video can mark the start of a new beginning for our channel, one that will actually last.

Our website - https://deepvertic.com/

Hello everyone, and welcome back to the DeepVertic channel.
Today I would like to go through a couple news and hopefully get this channel going again after a few too many months of inactivity.

The first big news for the channel is the creation of our very own website at deepvertic.com.
There you will be able to get articles about what’s going on with our projects, download links to our previous projects and a lot more.
I left a link in the description if you want to check it out.

The second big news is the beginning of the development of a new Game called Abomination, which you can read more about on our website. This will be a roguelike dungeon crawler with procedurally generated adventures and the ability to dismember your enemies and grafting their arms and legs on oneself to become stronger and more powerful.
There is not much to show yet apart from some placeholder assets and you will get to see more in a devlog coming soon.

The last news which is more of an announcement is that I’ll be starting on a more strict upload schedule of two videos a month including one dev log and a second video which will cover different topics related to game development. So stay tuned for this by clicking on the subscribe button down below, and why not leave a like while you’re there.

Lastly I would like to give you a real quick update on why the channel has been so inactive for so long.
Mathias and George are currently doing their entrance exam for school 42 in Paris.
I got hired as a C++ developer and am currently working on some projects for Airbus.
I am still doing my front end development studies full time.
And my first child was born almost 4 months ago, and she is a very demanding baby and therefore requires lots of attention.
Thankfully I have been able to find a schedule that works and I am determined to get this channel going again and so you can expect more regular content from now on!

That’s it for this video, check out our other videos showing on the screen right now and share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
