In 2002, Congress held a hearing about the Mercury (now known as Thimerosal) in vaccines.

The FDA could not adequately answer why the mercury used in vaccines hadn't been tested since 1929.
In the US, UK, and Europe, thiomersal has been removed from vaccines as a precaution. The "Vaccine Knowledge Project" of the University of Oxford adds: "This was in line with the global goal of reducing environmental exposure to mercury from all sources. However, there was no evidence that thiomersal in vaccines caused harm." Can you spot the logical issue with such a statement?
