Fisherman found a giant chain on the beach. When he pulled it up, something shocking happened.

A fisherman on Cumbre Island, Chile, accidentally discovered a giant iron chain buried along the coast.
The discoverer was Mr. Lucas Mendoza, 47 years old, who regularly fishes around the pristine southern coast of the island.
While searching for bait near the rocks, he saw a large, rusty chain stretching from the shore to the ocean floor.
The links were more than 20 cm in diameter, covered with seaweed and moss, lying half submerged and half floating on the sand and gravel.
Lucas immediately took photos of the scene and reported it to the coast guard in the nearest port town.
A special task force coordinated with maritime archaeology experts to quickly investigate the incident.
When divers followed the chain into the water, they discovered that it did not move despite the many high and low tides.
This detail made experts suspect that the end of the chain might be attached to a very large fixed object.
