It aint a bug , it's how the game was made to be. So that people would play the other 2 paths with different 'builds'
You could ofcourse use it to increase to boost your stats but it will not allow you to unlock the 100% attributes achievement.
This goes for +15 strength or +6 warhammer of the Titanlord hammer.

Another Note: For the following cheevo's you need to 100% skills on 1 character!

Gladiator - Sword , Axe , Staff [without rings or amulets]
Archer - Bow , Crossbow [without rings or amulets]
Mage - Magic Bullets , Fire Crystal , Frost Crystal [without amulets or rings]

Only as a Warrior of the Order can you complete Gladiator!
If you want to get Gladiator legit do the following.

1: Beat all the quests [before taking a side]
2: Make sure that the Harbour Town is into the Don's Hands by siding with his fighters [BUT DON'T deliver the package from Scordo]
3: Train Sword to Lv.7 with Edgar [Harbour Town]
4: Go to Fincher & hope that he will train you to Lv.10
5: Join the Order [as a Recruit of the Order]
6: Continue the game and invest ALL LP into Staff (Via William / Inquisitor) & Axe via Ukkos (Don's Camp)
7: That should trigger Gladiator whether it's broken or not!
And it's without Rings & Amulets.

Archer has no real problems!
Atleast to my knowledge!

Mage doesn't either!

Just make sure that all of it are done on 1 char and you should get the cheevo's either way!
I found out the hard way , that the old way [before THQ added steam cheevo's] doesn't work anymore or got broken!

So this is my recommendation for those cheevo's!

Gladiator - Warrior of the Order [30 Levels req - THUS ALL LP]
Archer - Warrior of the Don [20 LP req - Thus space for investments]
Mage - Master Mage of the Holy Flame [30 LP req - THUS ALL LP]

With the bruggleweed glitch you could train other skills!
But if you want to avoid that as much as possible then don't invest into strength , etc!
Certainly makes the game harder :p
