Amidst rumours of time bombs and hysteria, a desperate attempt to restore order ensues, led by a governance team including the protagonist, who is knowledgeable in high-end technology.
However, their efforts are thwarted by a relentless onslaught of prehistoric creatures attracted by the ship's presence in a marshland. Amidst factional struggles led by the likes of lawyer Bobby Kost, the survivors face a constant battle for survival against carnivorous creatures and internal conflict.
