Chapter 1: A Hard Beginning
LeBron James was born in 1984, in Akron, Ohio, USA. His mother, Gloria, was only 16 when he was born. They were poor and moved homes many times.
Life was not easy for LeBron. But he found hope in basketball. From a young age, he showed great talent and discipline.
Chapter 2: A High School Star
In high school, LeBron became a national superstar. His team was on TV, and people called him "The Chosen One."
He skipped college and joined the NBA in 2003, at just 18 years old. He was the first overall draft pick and joined the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Chapter 3: King of the Court
LeBron worked hard. He became one of the best basketball players in the world. He played for the Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Los Angeles Lakers.
He won four NBA championships and two Olympic gold medals. People call him "King James."
But LeBron is not only a great athlete—he is a leader, mentor, and team player.
Chapter 4: Giving Back
LeBron never forgot where he came from. He gives millions of dollars to help poor families and children.
In 2018, he opened the I PROMISE School in Akron. This school helps at-risk children get a good education, free meals, and support.
He also gives scholarships to help students go to college.
LeBron says:
"I promise to never forget where I came from."
Chapter 5: A Voice for Justice
LeBron speaks out about racism, police violence, and equal rights. He uses his fame to inspire change.
He helped create the group "More Than a Vote" to fight voter suppression and encourage people to vote.
Many people respect him for his courage, both on and off the court.
Chapter 6: A Legacy in Progress
LeBron James is still playing basketball, even in his late 30s. He takes care of his body and mind with strong discipline.
He is also a businessman, actor, and father of three children.
His life shows us that success comes from hard work, kindness, and never giving up.
