“4 Years Inside the Salvation Army: What They Don’t Want You to Hear”
This is not fiction. This is not exaggerated. This is real life inside a Salvation Army-run assisted living building on Kerr St, Vancouver.

This 4-minute song, Salvation Army Blues, is inspired by true events — a tenant punished for speaking the truth, a woman ignored after reporting harassment, and a system that protects itself rather than its most vulnerable residents.

In one week, a man was sent to the psych ward — not because he was dangerous, but because he defended a woman who dared to tell the truth. The hospital sent him back with nowhere else to go. The accused sat drinking coffee with management.

This is what happens when charity becomes big business.

We’re not here to speculate. We’re here to tell the truth — because someone has to.

Please share this. Let people know what's happening behind closed doors.
