1997 Book ‘2025’ Predicted Pandemics, AI, Smart IDs, and Global Government—What Did They Know?

222
"If this was predicted 27 years ago, somebody knew something."
In 1997, a trio of futurists published a book outlining their "predictions" for 2025—a world shaped by fast-mutating viral pandemics, genetic vaccines, smart IDs, smart homes, AI replacing human labour, the banning of non-electric vehicles, working from home becoming mainstream by 2020, global warming growing beyond the capability of individual nations to manage, and the establishment of global government—decades before any of it seemed conceivable.
The title of the book is: 2025: Scenarios of Global and U.S. Society Reshaped by Science and Technology
