The Eucharist supported by the Bread of Life Discourse in John 6

In 3 verses of John chapter 6 Jesus says to His disciples that they must eat His Flesh and drink His Blood 4 separate times – that it is true food and true drink – and if they do this they will have eternal life, Jesus will abide in them, and they will be raised on the last day. And if they don’t they will have no life within them. But come on, obviously Jesus couldn’t have meant what He repeatedly stated because it’s gross, right? Who could have believed and accepted a literal interpretation of what Jesus said like Catholics believe?

According to the Bible very few believed and accepted because we are told that most of His disciples left Him!! They left Him after this teaching and Jesus let them go!! Because they didn’t misunderstand, they just couldn’t accept His teaching. Will you be like some of His disciples and refuse to obey His command or believe, obey and stay?
