🔩 DIY Electromagnet Using 12V Relay | 18650 Battery Powered with Boost Converter**

In this project, I’ve created a simple and effective **electromagnet using a 12V relay coil**. Instead of using a traditional electromagnet core, I repurposed a **12V relay coil** as the electromagnetic coil. The power source is a **3.7V 18650 lithium-ion battery**, and I used a **boost converter module** to step up the voltage from 3.7V to 12V — enough to energize the relay coil and turn it into a functional electromagnet.

🔧 **Components Used:**

* 12V Relay (as electromagnet coil)
* 18650 Li-ion Battery (3.7V)
* Boost Converter (3.7V to 12V)
* Switch and connecting wires

When the circuit is powered, the relay coil behaves like a strong **electromagnet**, attracting small metal objects like nails, screws, or paperclips.

This is a fun and educational DIY project to learn the **basics of electromagnetism**, voltage boosting, and battery-powered circuits!
