January 23, 2024, Here is who really controls the Wisconsin Republican Party at the state level: lobbyists. It is not Robin Vos or "Chairman" Mark Jefferson. The Wis. Rep. Party bosses are James E. Ladwig a lobbyist (note he did pass away a few months ago), Bill McGoshen a lobbyist, John Gard a lobbyist, Reince Priebus a lobbyist. McGoshen and Preibus work for Michael Best Strategies, LLC of the Michael Best Fredrick Law Firm. These people along with the law firm run the Wis. Rep. Party of Wisconsin. Robin Vos, Mark Jefferson, Brian Schimming are beneath them. Lobbyists took over, they don't care if they win elections. They just want their cut of the some $500-600 million that will come into the Wisconsin political scene. Doesn't their actions, or lack of actions, make more sense now? They don't care if they win elections. It explains why they don't fight.
