Dead City Psychos were a punk rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed in 1999. The band was known for its raw, high-energy sound, blending garage rock, punk, and early 1960s rock 'n' roll with a melodic hardcore influence. Their music features gritty, rebellious themes and an upbeat, anthemic quality.

Band Members
The lineup consisted of:
Eric Dead (lead vocals, guitar), previously of Strychnine Babies, Brood Of Vipers, Broken Lamps
Joey Tweets (lead guitar)
Ben (bass)
Early Gates (drums), of Ray Gradys and Morning Glory

Dave Glass (former drummer), also of Strychnine Babies

History and Music
Dead City Psychos released their most prominent work, the album Babylon, on August 31, 2002. The 10-track record includes songs such as "Ten Seconds to Midnight," "Soul Killer," and "Go To Hell," noted for their driving rhythms and angsty, hook-laden style. The album is available on all music platforms. Earlier releases include a self-titled album, Dead City Psychos, and Dead Love 2000, though limited information is available about these projects.

Live Performances
The band was active in Philadelphia’s punk scene, particularly in the early 2000s. They headlined shows and performed at many Philadelphia venues, which were central to the city’s punk community in the 2000s. They headlined the Legends of Punk show at Blockley Pourhouse on October 15, 2010. In 2003, they performed at notable Los Angeles venues, including the Viper Room and Dragonfly.
