Marvel USING Robert Downey Jr. to Try and Push Iron Heart | Fans Do NOT Care

It a bid to seemingly drum up hype for the upcoming Disney+ Iron Heart series, It has been put out that Robert Downey Jr. himself expressed his support of the new series.

This comes across as an attempt by Disney and Marvel to quell concerns from fans of Iron Man since the character of Iron Heart is essentially a race and gender swapped Iron Man. This endorsement also comes with some veiled digs at the legacy character and his star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We’ll have to wait and see what happens with this, but it’s not looking too good. Even projects like the recent Thunderbolts* didn’t have much ill will in the leadup to the release, and it was well received, but not enough to make it a financial success.
