Chapter 1: A Boy from Madeira
Cristiano Ronaldo was born in 1985 on the small island of Madeira, Portugal. His family was poor, but young Cristiano loved football more than anything.
He played every day in the streets and dreamed of becoming a professional player.
His father worked at a local football club, and this helped Ronaldo train from a young age.
Chapter 2: A Big Sacrifice
At the age of 12, Ronaldo left home and moved to Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. He joined the Sporting CP football academy.
He was homesick and missed his family, but he worked hard and trained every day. He believed in his dream.
At just 16, he started playing with Sporting's first team. People noticed his speed, skills, and strong will.
Chapter 3: Becoming a Star
In 2003, Ronaldo played a friendly match against Manchester United. The players and coach were so impressed that they signed him.
He moved to England and wore the famous number 7 jersey.
At Manchester United, he became a global superstar, winning Premier League titles and his first Ballon d’Or in 2008.
Chapter 4: Breaking Records
In 2009, Ronaldo joined Real Madrid for a record-breaking transfer. There, he scored more than 450 goals and won:
4 Champions League titles
2 La Liga titles
4 Ballon d’Ors
In total, he has won 5 Ballon d’Ors and has played for top clubs like Juventus and Al Nassr.
Chapter 5: The Portugal Hero
For his country, Portugal, Ronaldo has been a leader and hero. He helped them win:

UEFA Nations League 2019
He is the highest goal scorer in international football history.
Chapter 6: More Than Football
Ronaldo is also known for his discipline, fitness, and confidence. He trains every day and follows a healthy lifestyle.
He gives money to hospitals, children, and disaster relief causes. He is one of the most followed people on social media, and a role model to millions.
