Numbers 10

In this chapter, we learn that God has Moses make two silver trumpets (they may have more resembled modern bugles) for calling people to the tabernacle, calling the leaders, leading the people into battle, and for festivals and sacrifices.

The people get to participate in the Passover, who were unclean the first time, and a few days later, the people finally move out towards the promised land. The first journey mentioned is just 3 days.

Hobab, Moses' brother in law, goes with them to help them pick good places to camp in the wilderness.
