The massive search for two missing children in Nova Scotia has been “scaled back” after six straight days of searching in a rural area of Pictou County.

RCMP said Wednesday that it has been an “all hands on deck effort” to find Lily and Jack Sullivan, aged six and four, who were reported missing on May 2. While they are scaling back the full search to look at more “specific spaces,” they are not ending their efforts.

However, the police admitted the likelihood that the kids would be found alive right now is "very low."
