THE DANGERS OF ORGANIZED RELIGION PART 3
Organized Religion is the government's lapdog

#1. I am neither Marxist, Socialist, nor Communist. I am a Christian in that I believe Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Savior, and the only way to Heaven. This is the very definition of "Christian", and it makes my ass hurt when people redefine "Christianity".

#2. I fear for the future of all American "people of faith", and for good reason. Our government has co-opted nearly every organized religion within its grasp. From sea-to-shining-sea we watch as these "no-longer-authentic" churches continue to co-opt their members.

#3. Suckered and led into the hypocritical world of Corporate Religion, many believe they’ve actually found a home in Catholicism, Protestantism, Judaism, and a host of other "isms". In reality they put their very souls in jeopardy. I guess home is where the heart is; but there's always the exception now, isn't there?

#3. Our government has bribed organized religion with "tax-free-status." By filing with the government as not-for-profit organizations they are exempt from paying the taxes the rest of us do pay. We pay property tax, income tax, gift tax, and a host of others NOT PAID by religions.

#4. When a business or other commercial enterprise files papers of incorporation, there are some legal "dodges" that can reduce the tax burden. Now understand, they cannot eliminate it, but they can reduce it often considerably.

#5. By the scriptures, the Christian churches no longer serve God. Rather, enjoying government tax-free status, they have pledged their loyalty to the government. These "churches" do not serve God, but Mammon. Mammon aka Washington, D.C., is their true "God".

#6. Twisting scripture to their own device, these churches preach subservience to the reigning government, regardless of how evil that it may be. Their favorite bastardization of scripture is the old "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's." They preach obedience to "the laws of the land." How did that work for Hitler Germany?

#7. As Karl Marx noted, Religion is indeed the Opiate of the masses. It's the "church opiate" that keeps people subservient and obedient. Thus the door to false doctrine and heresy is left wide open. "Hello Mammon!"

#8. These churches are either serving Mammon [Lucifer] or their greed has them hiding behind their "Tax-free" status within the tax structure of the government.

#9. In any case, it's a power grab. These churches are dedicated to power and control over their members. Their relentless pursuit of power is coupled with almost equal pursuit of wealth. The eloquent and even sublimely graceful ways in which they do this are truly an art form.

#10. These religions take your money, demanding "tithing" of 1/10th of your gross income. They issue assessments called "settlements" where you kick in additional dough to help pay for new churches, cathedrals, and temples.

#11. Once erected and "consecrated" many of these edifices are only accessible to "members in good standing" or "highest of the faithful" which means; those who frequently, regularly, and faithfully pay "x" amount of money to the church.

#12. Say a prayer, meditate, or just take a closer look at your church and ask yourself if it isn't a power-hungry, money-grubbing, tax-sheltered club to which you belong and swear allegiance.

Is it you they love, or is it your money?
