hey took Charlie for the crime, small hands stained with red. Twenty years he rotted in Alcatraz’s asylum, walls cold as the bay. Then a spark—a plan. He’d twist free, eel-slick, past the guards’ dull eyes. Slipped through bars, swam the gulf, waves clawing at him. A rich lady found him on the shore, limp, half-dead. Took him in, nursed him. Trouble stuck to Charlie, though—dogged his heels. Asskicking anew, tricks spun. Wherever he went, chaos bloomed, swift and sure. He kicked the asses, duped the fools, left them sprawling in his wake.
