In 1998, Belgium firearms manufacturer FN Herstal introduced their Five-seveN, semi-automatic, full sized handgun onto the military market. A handful of years later, in 2004, they introduced it onto the civilian market. Now more than 20 years later this handgun and it's 5.7x28mm cartridge have only gained in popularity as a viable self defense tool.

Known for it's innovative design and futuristic aesthetic, this handgun utilizes a great deal of polymer and incorporates many impressive specs. Such as a 20+1 round ammunition capacity, a unloaded weight of 1lbs 7.7oz (less than a Glock 17), and a tame recoil impulse that maintains effective terminal ballistics.

This particular version of the FN Five-seveN is the MK2 variant which came with black controls as opposed to the grey controls seen on the earlier versions, like the USG model.
