The Invisible Enemy Not Taught in a Black History in School?

During elections with record-breaking participation, despite a pandemic declaration, which, by the first anniversary would claim over a half million American lives, the deadliest year to that date in American history, some intoned concerns about a democcracy at stake, while some more bemoaned a loss of liberties, albeit rarely rising to a justiciable argument in the courts, where, under the Constitution, controversies are decided. Still, exercising rights of free speech, some participated in protest demonstrations, wrote books, or even engaged in philosophical discourse on panels. Yet, one case, unreported in the press, one of apparently around 50, according to the courts, and in a court-acknowledged “protracted history”, has now finally progressed to the Circuit Court of Appeals in the nation’s capital, a “ripe for dismissal” case according to the White House, and raising probing questions, beyond the still debated origins of a novel virus and the formerly unapproved biological products that had been rushed at warp speed to development, the issue as to whether a little white lie may have pushed progress along while all were encouraged to make like Pontius Pilate, including churches, and wash their hands.

“Well, Howard, as you know, we were hit quite hard on testing here in the seventh most educated state by credentials, and since we are in this school board race we decided to make like a pandemic and demand testing—with no cheating of course. Or maybe if you have a good reason to cheat even your pastor may give you a green light. Still, with all of these Reverend Doctors, I find it difficult to fathom that not one amongst them appeared to have read the law that had made it possible to stand up testing sites right there in the places of worship they had jumped to close during the holiest season, declaring themselves nonessential, at least until grant money became available from the separation doctrine government to provide education on a brand new virus and to even mandate these believers to participate in human experimentation. You would think after Jim Jones, some would have learned a lesson about—how did Corey Booker put it? Sipping on Kool Aid without even knowing the flavor? Some folks like it when you speak like that, and my high school alum’s old law partner could probably kick my ass in an election in progressive Arlington, where only 1 in 10 colored folks even hold a college degree and there isn’t one Black on the school board. How do they say? Show enough?” remarked Major Mike Webb, who clearly “ain’t really Black”.

Your elected representative is called your elected representative for a reason; and Martin Luther King and Jesus never got elected.
