Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that the Houthis in Yemen were dealt multiple blows after attacking an airport in Israel. "I am saying it again today — we will settle the score with anyone who attacks the State of Israel " he said. The Israeli military also carried out airstrikes against Hodeidah Port and its vicinity. In the aftermath of the airstrikes the Houthis closed off the area surrounding the port and a cement factory. Tensions have been high since the Gaza war began but have risen further since a Houthi missile strike landed near Israel's Ben Gurion Airport on Sunday prompting Israeli airstrikes on Yemen's Hodeidah port on Monday.
