Episode 770: The Three Main Characters in Revelation Part 1

Hello everyone. In tonight's Bible study we take a detailed look at the outline that the Lord Jesus gave us for the book of Revelation.

The last time we were together, we took a detailed look at the "things which you have seen." as instructed by the Lord to the apostle John.

Tonight we will look at the three main characters in the book of Revelation.
1. Israel - why did God choose this nation?
2. Jerusalem - why did God choose this city?
3. Gentiles - why does God choose certain Gentiles?

Using each of these three entities the LORD God has His three witnesses regarding how He goes about saving those who cannot save themselves.

The book of Revelation is the final act of God's revealing certain attributes, the final act of the reconciliation plan, and the full unveiling of His Son and Redeemer, the Lord of hosts, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Here is the outline of the book of Revelation given to us by the Lord Jesus Himself to the apostle John.

1. Which you have seen, Christ Jesus glorified.
2. The things which are, Christ inspecting His church.
a. Faithful behavior is rewarded
b. Sinful behavior is judged, reaping what was sowed
c. False believers (tares) identified, judged, and expelled
d. Born again believers, the true Church taken to heaven
3. The things which will take place after this, Christ judging the world
a. Removed the restraint on evil
i. Satan and demons kicked out of heaven
ii. Wicked mankind released to be as evil as they desire to be
iii. Nature released to implode under the curse
b. God’s witnesses sealed and commissioned
c. Israel persecuted by Satan and wicked mankind
d. Believers persecuted and most killed by the same
e. Unbelievers are punished, many are killed
f. Religion destroyed
g. Materialism destroyed
h. Christ returns with all the Saints and angels
i. Antichrist, false prophet & unbeliever’s armies killed
j. Satan and demons imprisoned
k. Christ restores the Kingdom of Israel, sits on David’s throne
l. All unbelievers either judged & killed
m. Removes the curse from the world for 1,000 years
i. Restores the world to pre-sin condition
ii. 1/3 Remnant of Jews enter the kingdom
iii. Remnant of believing Gentiles enter the kingdom
iv. Both remnants begin having natural children
1. All Jewish children a born filled with the Spirit
2. All Gentile children a born with the sin nature
3. A small remnant of the Gentiles will be saved
4. Satan & demons released from the Abyss
5. The unbelieving Gentiles & Satan attempt to kill Jesus
6. Jesus kills them all and destroys the world, heaven and earth
7. Jesus judges Satan, the demons, and all unbelievers at the Great White Throne
8. Jesus creates a new heaven and earth wherein dwells only righteousness
