Those who follow Rustbelt Basketball Coaches’ Network, LLC (RBCN) have read about how we scripted our set plays & how we taught them to flow into our Blocker/Mover offenses. We had different sets for Lane/Lane, Wide/Wide, Triangle, & Runner.

Teaching set plays is a big animal, there’s a lot of aspects that need to be covered, re-covered, & covered again. There’s few things worse in this game than early turnovers. Couple that with teaching Blocker/Mover offense - there’s a lot of teaching that has to be completed on a daily basis. We demanded that our JV & freshman teams knew our basic sets & Lane/Lane to the point of ad nauseum.
