Developed by Quintet, the studio that brought you ActRaiser and Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma was released in 1995 on the Super Nintendo in Japan and Europe. However, it never made it to North America. It is one of the most thoughtful and profound video games ever released, and has tragically been widely overlooked. In this video, I explain why this game means so much to me, and why we have decided to cover it on our podcast over the next several weeks.
