What Makes Terranigma So Special?

Developed by Quintet, the studio that brought you ActRaiser and Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma was released in 1995 on the Super Nintendo in Japan and Europe. However, it never made it to North America. It is one of the most thoughtful and profound video games ever released, and has tragically been widely overlooked.
