So far the Democrats are 11 to ZERO against the Republicans for #J6 hearings. The Republicans had two Speakers of the House and neither one ever held a single hearing about the government corruption on January 6, 2021. In this hearing, the Democrats even taunt them for that . . . twice! This fake hearing was for the sole purpose of building a case against #PresidentTrump's nominee for #EdMartin to be the new D.C. district attorney. And just like former Speaker #NancyPelosi's faux January 6 Committee (the made-for-tv mini series that was actually created by a Hollywood producer), this "shadow government" hearing by the Democrats was held without any Republican members of congress or any of THEIR witnesses. And the same 4 police officers are always the Democrat's witnesses. This was just another sham piece of propaganda by the Democrats that still threatens our democracy. Monday, April 7, 2025: As an aside: A lawyer representing a former U.S. pardon attorney complained in a letter to the DOJ that it was using "security resources to intimidate" #LizOyer ahead of her planned participation in a previous "shadow" hearing held by congressional Democrats. The letter said the Justice Department dispatched special deputy U.S. marshals to the home of Oyer, who said she was fired after she opposed adding actor #MelGibson to a list of people having their gun rights restored. (A Justice Department official disputed that the Gibson case drove her dismissal.) The special deputy U.S. marshals had been told to deliver a letter warning Oyer to obey her obligation not to reveal information protected by executive privilege at the "shadow" hearing . Ultimately, they did not deliver the letter, after Oyer confirmed receipt of the message to a secondary email.
