Spring Bike Ride - spring in full effect.

Tuesday morning, May 6—spring in full effect. The air is mild at 10°C, wrapped in fog and mist that softens everything in sight. The trail feels hushed and peaceful as I ride through quiet streets, sidewalks, and wooded paths.

Creeks are flowing steadily from last night’s rain, their sound weaving through the mist. The pavement and dirt are damp but not messy—my bike’s fenders do their job, and only the bottoms of my shoes pick up a bit of mud. The cool spring air clings with light moisture, refreshing but not cold.

Visibility drops in places, the fog thickening between trees and open stretches. My GoPro captures the whole hour-long ride, mist curling in front of the lens and diffusing the morning light into a soft glow.

By the end, I’m warmed up and slightly mist-soaked, but it feels good—like the ride was part of the landscape itself. A quiet, moody spring morning full of life and movement.
