Police sources say that three men arrested for last month’s deadly home invasion in Los Angeles are illegal migrants from Eastern Europe. They are accused of breaking into a home in Woodland Hills and brutally attacking and killing the man inside. Christina Coleman reports live from Los Angeles with more on this case.

John, three men in the country illegally were arrested in connection with the murder of a man during a violent home invasion and robbery in the Woodland Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, according to multiple law enforcement sources. Police say the incident occurred last weekend, on Saturday, just before 1:00 a.m. Law enforcement sources told Fox News that the 47-year-old victim was tied up and held hostage. They say he was violently struck in the head. Police identified the victim as 47-year-old Aleksandre Modebadze.

Neighbors are now reflecting on his tragic loss. "He seemed like a very kind person, always out walking his dog. I have two dogs, and he was very friendly. I think it’s really sad what happened to him."

Law enforcement sources told Fox News that ICE issued detainers against the three suspects arrested in this case. They were found last week in the Los Angeles area. Authorities say the men are from the country of Georgia and are in the U.S. illegally. Their arrest comes as the Trump administration works to combat illegal immigration and crime.

Today on "Meet the Press," President Donald Trump spoke about his ongoing efforts to remove violent illegal immigrants from this country. “We have thousands of people who are some killers and some drug dealers and some of the worst criminals in the world, some of the worst and most dangerous in the world, and I was elected to get them the hell out of here.”
