Hero Florida Man Rescues Bald Eagle from Alligator-Infested Lake

Doug Hay, 69, dove into a lake near Sarasota to save a drowning bald eagle after a mid-air fight left it injured. Despite razor-sharp talons and lurking gators, Doug pulled the eagle to safety. The dramatic rescue was caught on camera by his wife and the bird is now recovering at a wildlife center.
