A special showing where we aim to duel a special boss utilizing various onmyo magic and all of the melee arsenal. We'll be taking on Sanada Yukimura, leader of the Sanada clan participating in the defense of Osaka castle. This duel is a personal favorite of mine.

While onmyo magic does not offer any overt advantages as extreme as when dueling an opponent like Saika Magoichi, onmyo can still ease the difficulty of facing Yukimura, such as by taking advantage of Yukimura's earth element vulnerability to inflict the muddied ailment - since he will take 50% more ki damage while muddied, we can end his living weapon phases quicker to wind him for big damage follow-ups and a finishing blow. However, even so, Yukimura is a tough opponent and the most effective way to best him is to practice honing your fighting abilities and take advantage of any openings in Yukimura's assaults.

Earlier difficulties of Nioh don't usually provide much flexibility in terms of builds for William, so I'll be venturing into the later difficulties of Nioh in order to exemplify some of the potential viability for playing through the game with a focus on onmyo magic and investing in the Magic stat.
