The team completes a massive expansion of the base infrastructure, including a finished kitchen and an organized freezer to store thousands of units of meat. A poorly timed raid hits right after blood extractions, resulting in a chaotic defense and a critical colonist being downed. An accidental diplomatic disaster occurs when a friendly faction is mistakenly raided, forcing an urgent peacekeeping mission involving bribes and silver. Amidst all of this, the colony battles an acidic smog, a heat wave, and food shortages for their ever-growing herd of animals.
