IN WHICH: Chris stands before a small cage at the Humane Society. From behind the bars, the male kitten peers upwards with hopeful eyes. Chris decides not to adopt him and goes to leave. The kitten grabs the bars of his cage in his claws and meows as hard as his little lungs can manage. Chris hears and looks back. Moved by something he doesn't fully understand, he decides to welcome the kitten into his home.

This little gem is from Jerry's score for Total Recall (the original). I used it on the Mix GROWLTIGER which is about the life, death and rebirth of my cat Oliver. There are two other Jerry Goldsmith songs from Total Recall on that Mix and I REALLY wanted to put them in this collection right away but I'm right in the middle of upgrading GROWLTIGER song by song and I didn't want to skip ahead, so for now those two songs will remain in limbo. Once their upgrades are complete they will become a part of the Jerry Goldsmith Experience.
