BREAKING: Major DoD Reform Announced

Pete Hegseth unveils a significant restructuring plan for the Department of Defense, targeting a reduction in senior military leadership:

- Phase 1: A minimum 20% cut in active-duty 4-star and flag officers, plus a 20% reduction in general and flag officers within the National Guard Bureau.
- Phase 2: An additional 10% reduction in general and flag officers across the DoD.

Context:
- During WWII, a 12 million-strong military had 17 five-star generals.
- Today, with 2.1 million service members, the military has 44 four-star generals and flag officers.
