WHY WAIT TO TURN TO GOD WHEN SATAN COMES TO COLLECT?

There comes a point when silence becomes betrayal—not just to ourselves, but to our entire community. For far too long, we’ve overlooked the quiet damage done by those hiding behind the guise of "truth," "justice," or even "freedom." But now, the veil is off.

It’s becoming clearer by the day: a hate group, cleverly framed as a nonprofit, has been strategically positioned to target and intimidate Black individuals. What’s worse—they’re doing it under the American flag, with awards and applause, masquerading as defenders of freedom. But who gets to define freedom when those doing the defending send dog whistles laced with racial undertones and extremist ideology?

Jaguar Wright, once a voice many remembered for calling out abuse in the music industry, has now positioned herself firmly within the MAGA movement. Her acceptance of the so-called Defender of Freedom award at Mar-a-Lago—presented by none other than General Michael Flynn—sends a chilling message: this isn’t about truth anymore. This is about allegiance. Power. Control.

In her own words, she claims, "God wanted Trump." But we have to ask: since when did God endorse chaos and confusion disguised as divine assignment? Since when did aligning with those who fuel anti-Black rhetoric become a badge of honor?

The Black community isn’t blind. We see the signs. We see how voices like Liz Crokin—another extremist tied to this ecosystem—have spread conspiracies that have harmed countless lives, mentally, spiritually, financially. And we see how easily that harm gets packaged as "patriotism."

This isn’t just about Jaguar Wright. It’s about a pattern. A deeply troubling movement that co-opts Black voices to validate white supremacist agendas. And it’s prompting a reckoning. Across the country, more and more of us are waking up, asking the real questions, and refusing to play along.

We’re setting boundaries. As a community. As a culture. We’re done entertaining wolves in sheepskin, done allowing spiritual manipulation to masquerade as divine revelation. The moment we start confusing access with purpose is the moment we give away our power.

So let this be a reminder: if the price of your platform is betraying your people, it was never worth it. If your “truth” requires aligning with those who have historically oppressed us, then maybe that truth ain’t truth at all.

Because real freedom—our freedom—starts with knowing who we are, what we stand for, and what we’ll no longer tolerate.
